We had a wonderful time at the camp we went to for adoptive families.
It was so relaxed and the weather was dry so we were out of doors the whole time :-) It was very cold though!
The children had fun and so did the parents! We met several parents who are contemplating home education for their children. School is not an easy place for children who have had a poor start in life.
Louise Bomber seems to be the expert in the U.K. in promoting the needs of children with attachment difficulties in schools. Here is her website

Many schools (the vast majority?) have not heard her valuable message and so there are a number of adoptive parents who have 'voted with their feet' and removed their children from school altogether...and never looked back :-)
